How to extract specific pages from a PDF
Extracting specific pages is the most common reason people need to split a PDF online. Here is the most effective approach for different scenarios:
Extracting a continuous range of pages
Use the Page Range mode and enter the range — for example, "5-12" to extract pages 5 through 12. This is the fastest way to extract a chapter, section, or any consecutive set of pages from a larger document.
Extracting non-consecutive pages
Use the Page Range mode with comma-separated entries — for example, "1, 5, 9, 15-18" to extract page 1, page 5, page 9, and pages 15 through 18. All selected pages are combined into a single extracted PDF in their original order.
Extracting a single page
To extract a single page, use Page Range mode and enter just that page number — for example, "7" to extract only page 7. Alternatively, use Select Pages mode and click just that one page number button.
